Measuring Systems and Retrofits
WINDOWS BASED MEASURING SYSTEM
The major element of any balancing machine is the measuring system. The UNI-44 
is a “Window’s” based, touch screen operating system using Universal's proprietary Winbal software that runs on Window’s XP or Vista. The system comes with a number of standard features including:
- Job storage,
- Encoder angle tracking,
- Logging of data,
- Analysis SPC,
- ISO tolerance calculator,
- Polar & numeric readouts,
- Tooling & Keyway compensation,
- Diagnostics features,
- Different correction methods and much more as outlined in the Specifications.
TOUCH SCREEN
The UNI-44 toucn-screen system structure is unique in that it is designed as a modular system where servicing and maintaining is very simple, easy and less costly. Parts are easily replaced and can be purchased at your local computer store eliminating unnecessary service calls from manufacturer and costly down time.
UPGRADE EXISTING SYSTEMS
The UNI-44 comes standard on all Universal Balancing balancers and is a perfect tool to retrofit existing balancers no matter themake or model. The UNI-44 can greatly improve and update both hard and soft bearing balancers.
The UNI-25 is an alternative to the UNI-44. It is what we call our entry level 
measuring system but has many outstanding features. The UNI-25 has a digital display that can read both single and two planes. It is extremely accurate and simple to operate.
The UNI-25 can be ordered with any new balancer and can also be retrofitted to any existing balancer to upgrade older electronics
